Party Building Without the Grind
Mobile RPGs love to tempt you into grinding, but most of the time it's unnecessary if you build your party with a little thought. The games are usually tuned so that a balanced team beats an overlevelled one, and that's where your focus should go.
Cover three roles early: something that soaks damage, something that deals it, and something that keeps the others alive. It sounds obvious, but I've watched runs fall apart because someone stacked four attackers and had nobody to heal.
When a game offers cheap respeccing, use it constantly. Experimenting with builds teaches you the system faster than reading any guide, including this one. The best setups I found came from messing around, not from copying a wiki.
Hollowtide Saga, which we reviewed recently, is a great example of this done right. Respecs are cheap and battles scale to your level, so you're free to tinker without punishment. More RPGs should learn from that generosity.
